Dream Hackers – Walk Away (60% FRAMED)

In our search for new music, we accidentally bumped into ‘Walk Away’ by Dream Hackers. The first-hear was right on target and we were interested immediately. This DJ/Producer from South Korea is originally part of the At Night duo and he played at UMF Korea; well, that’s an impressive track record! After releasing ‘Faster and Faster’, he’s back with another insane song on Chill Planet: ‘Walk Away’.

Returning pattern
Dream Hackers follows up tracks with a lot of different characters. It seems like he’s actually producing what he’s feeling like to produce; in our opinion the real music producer mentality. In a quick go-thought, we hear a lot of bouncy tracks on various tempos and a returning sound-wise pattern. That means Dream Hackers knows exactly what he’s doing with skills he already mastered: excellent vocal editing, on-point leads, and a sense of accessible music we absolutely adore. At last, that submission for the Zedd remix competition is unreal (Soundcloud). We’re going to follow this guy!

Lora Tucci – The Key (86% FRAMED)

Something really special reached our inbox last week! We received a highly attractive song from singer/songwriter New York based Lora Tucci, which is called ‘The Key’. It got our attention immediately because of its cheerful atmosphere and cool summer vibes. In an industry dominated by electronic pop music, she tries to find her own distinctive sound. On that journey, it’s important to reflect your joy into the music. That’s exactly what Lora did here: creating an appealing and joyful piano-oriented track.

Trigger vocals
All the elements strengthen each other and it sounds like fresh air in the dance-pop community. What’s quite remarkable, is that Lora used her own vocal to fill up the track in a recognizable way to let people participate. Not only the vocal-edited details are amazing along the track, but we also couldn’t resist singing along automatically with the pre-drop sample. She did a great job in putting that kind of trigger in the track. Overall, Lora has a lot to offer in the future with absolutely radio-worthy music! With INNA and Kylie Minogue as sources of inspiration, we’re sure Lora Tucci picked the right direction to pursue. On to the next hit!
