Sushifree, who originated in the North-West of Italy, grew up in an environment full of House Music. He has played piano since he was 6 years old and he is presented with the biggest Italian songwriters. Later on, his love for electronic music grew bigger and heavy-weights like Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, and Calvin Harris became sources of inspiration.
“‘Safe’ allowed me to sign across the border.”
Sushifree loves to energize his audience with piano and synth melodies on solid drum grooves. That’s exactly what you hear the best in ‘Safe’, guided with a harmonizing vocal. These elements together deliver a big wave of ‘awesomeness’. Remarkably, this track is completely different from other tracks. “For Me, I think ‘Safe’ sounds more adult and more complex than others. It’s a step further in my search for a personal Tech House sound that characterizes me as an artist. Besides that, I definitely improved my skills along the process! I focused more on mastering, thanks to my teacher and friend Luca Testa.”

Because of ignoring Italian record labels temporarily, the opportunities came to sign across the border. “This track allowed me to sign with Swutch Records, which has connections with big names like Kontor, Toolroom, and others! I will just keep producing, looking for a new sound that combines the power of Tech House and Pop & Electro influences”. It is clear that Sushifree knows exactly what angle of music fits the right spots in the market. That’s another big step in the right direction! With the progress he’s making at the moment, we’re sure that he’ll be successful in the industry with his innovations.
