In case you haven’t heard of We Are Diamond and you like chill music, go to their page as soon as possible. They signed some promising talents to the label: Zak Down & Piece Wise. Both producers found each other with their cheerful sounds and tropical vibes. You hear that very clearly in their last collaboration: ‘Write My Wrongs’.
Pure calm in the heat
In times of tremendous hot days, ‘Write My Wrongs’ lets you imagine you’re on snow-white beaches, taking a sip of your cocktail. The best part of the song is in our opinion the vocal edit which repeats itself every time. That repetition and the sophisticated intervention of other lowkey sounds, take you through the song in no-time. The aura of ‘Write My Wrongs’ very relaxed from start to end. A pleasure to listen to.
Travelling
Producer Zak Down is travelling at the moment and he has been without his main producing computer for a long time. That doesn’t stop him from being productive. “Traveling has given me a load of inspiration. it flows over here! Within my first few weeks in Melbourne, I made 3 full songs on my laptop. On of the is ‘Write My Wrongs’. I’ve even made a soundtrack of a videogame while travelling!”
Sharing something that you made yourself is not easy.”

Final touch
From many angles, producing ‘Write My Wrongs’ has been a very educational track for Zak down. “Well, it’s a new style for me, a different take on what I usually do.” He indicates that it didn’t simply come into a thing. “Working on ‘Write My Wrongs’ was very helpful for my music. I’ve made one of my biggest decisions in my career so far: reaching out for another person to finish the track. Usually, I’m a bit reluctant to do that. Sharing something that you made yourself is not easy.”
“After all, I’m glad to send it to Piece Wise, that was a really big step for me. It was difficult to put my finger on the final touch. He found the missing piece of the puzzle and tied it all together. Sometimes it’s good to let someone else put his perspective of music in a project.

During his journey, he keeps trying to be productive and put every single bit of inspiration in his backpack. We can expect a lot from him! “I’ve got a lot of tracks ready to release, one of them is called ‘Nothing That We Couldn’t Do’. Currently, I’m looking for a label for it. They’re going to like it for sure.”
